GOP protesters ‘outraged’ over party support for ‘a known anti-gun, Bloomberg-financed, former MA Senator’

The New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition and Gun Owners of New Hampshire are joining the New Hampshire Firearms Coalition to protest the appearance by former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown at the state GOP’s holiday fundraiser.

In an email blast to members, the New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition wrote, “The fight for NH principles has never been more intense:”

We are facing some of the worst anti-gun legislation that we have seen in years and now the NH GOP is working with a known anti-gun, Bloomberg-financed, former MA Senator. We were shocked to find out that the the NH GOP is willing to support this known big government anti-gun candidate.

The Board of Directors for the Gun Owners of New Hampshire issued a “Minute Man Alert” exhorting their members to join the protest:

[W]e need all Patriots on deck to inform and educate the NH GOP’s that NH gun owners do not agree with promoting the anti-gun, Bloomberg Endorsed former Senator and gun banner Scott Brown as our next NH Senator.

How outrageous can this be? Our New Hampshire Republican Committee is holding a $500.00 dollar per plate fund raiser for a known anti-gunner to be pushed upon us as a prime candidate for the US Senate seat in the Live Free or Die State. If you’re not outraged you should be!

The fundraiser and protest are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. next Thursday at the Hunt Memorial Building in Nashua.
