State House Rep. Kyle Tasker said what?

image

Yesterday, state House Rep. Kyle Tasker (R-Nottingham) posted a video on Facebook made by controversial radio talk show host Tommy Sotomayor. The Atlanta-based African American courted controversy by bashing Jason Collins, the first openly gay active NBA player, but made his name with his vicious attacks on black women.

The YouTube video Tasker posted is classic Sotomayor: “[Black] Woman Throws her Baby Away So She Can Poundcake Another Woman On The Bus!”

In his video commentary, Sotomayor declares, “Black women are the worst stewards of children on the planet. They are the worst mothers by a long shot. They do not care about their children.”

This leads to the following exchange between Tasker and Rep. John Burt (R-Goffstown):

John A Burt Is this man racist?

Kyle Tasker He thinks black women are the least fit people on earth to rear children.

Kyle Tasker So not really

Constituent responds to Rep. Tasker: ‘I am ashamed to have you representing the people of this town’

Yesterday, we reported on a Facebook comment from state House Rep. Kyle Tasker (R-Nottingham) directed at gun safety proponents: Just the thought of guns makes them piss themselves unless its arming the police to further crush their spirit,” he wrote.

After reading Tasker’s remarks, Nottingham’s Karen Davidson fired off an email to her representative:

Dear Representative Tasker:

I live in Nottingham, and I am ashamed to have you representing the people of this town and myself.

I don’t piss myself when I think of guns. But I do shake my head in wondering how someone like you got elected, and then makes statements like this. You have insulted the same people that probably voted for you. Gun owners and non gun owners think about gun safety. Gun safety laws do not take away guns from people who already have guns, but it stops those from obtaining them, to be used against our police officers or innocent people.

If you were aware of gun safety, your gun would not have fallen out of your holster, if you actually had one, in the state house. The members of the house were lucky that the gun didn’t go out and hurt or kill those in attendance or yourself.

It also doesn’t crush my spirit when arming the police. I want them armed to go up against those with automatic weapons or worse.

You are disrespectful of those people living in Nottingham, and you certainly have proved to me, that you need to learn more about those who you represent. Maybe there is a majority here in town that want Gun Safety laws, and you are not fulfilling what your constituents want, ie Senator Kelly Ayotte. Learn to be a little more respectful of all of the people you represent.

Davidson received a curt response from Tasker, who called her message “narcissistic:”

If you don’t like what I comment on someone’s picture they post on my private non political Facebook page, I think the logical first step would be to stay off of it. I’ve never seen your Facebook page, I plan to keep it that way. I find it odd you jump to the conclusion that when I say “they” that translates to Kareb [sic] Davidson of [address redacted]. This is narcissistic.

After a couple of follow-up messages, Davidson ended the thread, saying she was frustrated by “another NH Representative who doesn’t care what he says and doesn’t mind insulting others, including people in his district, that have different views.”

“I expect my representatives to be professional, expect to take criticism from those with opposite views, and use some common sense in responding,” she said.

Quote of the day: The thought of guns

Just the thought of guns makes them piss themselves unless its arming the police to further crush their spirit.

Rep. Stella Tremblay: How can a Facebook comment create such a vicious backlash?

Writing on Facebook, state House Rep. Stella Tremblay defended herself from criticism that Democrats will benefit from her incendiary claim that the U.S. government was responsible for the Boston Marathon bombing.

The Auburn Republican said Republicans who have attacked her have abandoned their principles and will be punished at the polls. “It is all about ‘the GOP’ staying in power and not about standing up for principles or truth,” she complained. “Joining the attack does not add credibility to the GOP party and the difference between the parties,” Tremblay added. “They are the ones that will never win another election.”

Tremblay blamed the media for twisting her words. “They certainly know how to tell the truth without ANY manipulation or prejudice right?” she asked sarcastically.

“I did not embezzle (as some representatives did and are now back), I did [not] damage peoples property, steal, extort, bribe, or anything of the kind. There is only one that I am accountable to: GOD, the creator of our universe,” she concluded.

The full, unedited exchange follows:

Jack Frost: Tremblay criticized for comments on bombing victim. NH GOPers like this are giving NH Dems even better odds at retaining the legislative majority…

Stella Tremblay: So Jack Frost: It is all about “the GOP” staying in power and not about standing up for principles or truth. We certainly have turned in the direction of evil…and completely embraced it!!! Look at the crazy stuff happening? Students with “permission” slips from their parents to take advil , yet they can go to get the “morning after” pill. We have no idea of the long term effects. Oh have you ever talked to the Media, Mr. Frost? They certainly know how to tell the truth without ANY manipulation or prejudice right?

Jack Frost: It’s one thing to question the government. It’s something else to attack the victims of the bombing… or appear to.

Stella Tremblay: THAT was twisted. It is because of the “victims” that we as Americans from all parties should DEMAND a full investigation. Can you match the dots? Bengazi, Fast and Furious, etc. Have we had an investigation? NO! It is all determined that it is “classified” and swept under the rug. Those that are emergency personnel and our troops deserve better. Honesty for one.

Stella Tremblay: Just one more thing. How can a “comment” on facebook create such a vicious back-lash? Do you realize that our town had two mail-box bombs (only one went off) the same day I had a letter delivered to my home with the sign of the SOLIDARITY Fist. You know the groups that enjoy discussion and discourse. When are we going to stand up and fight those that will say whatever they want (which is a First Amendment Right for ALL) and yet not be allowed to do the same if we disagree. Joining the attack does not add credibility to the GOP party and the difference between the parties. They are the ones that will never win another election. I have had many e-mails to the effect that people want “HONEST and trustworthy politicians” in the government, and thanking that someone is asking the questions they want answered. I did not embezzle (as some representatives did and are now back), I did damage peoples property, steal, extort, bribe, or anything of the kind. There is only one that I am accountable to: GOD, the creator of our universe.

Rep. JR Hoell: Machine guns would reduce gun violence

State Rep. JR Hoell (R-Dunbarton) wrote on Facebook that the best way to reduce gun violence is have more people carry concealed guns — and eliminate restrictions on the manufacture and sale of fully automatic firearms:

If back ground checks actually helped prevent murders I would consider them, but they do not. What helps is better firearm training, more people trained, more people carrying concealed.

What about getting rid of ALL laws on the books restricting concealed carry? What about training and arming teachers? What about in service days dedicated to prepping teachers to deal with violent students? [teaching them to throw books at the assailant is worst then not teaching them at all] What about the societies that just said checks that then became prohibitions?

PS. Why can’t I go buy a full auto firearm? The issue in 1934 was just a $200 tax stamp, and now is a 4 page form that requires you to contact the BATF prior to crossing state lines, finger prints, LEO approval, etc.

Tremblay defiant: ‘If you think I am delusional to ask these questions, so be it’

Last night, a defiant state House Rep. Stella Tremblay responded to the furor that erupted over her Facebook message blaming the U.S. Government for the Boston Marathon bombing:

Holy COW!!! Because someone asks questions one is viciously attacked? What happened to discussion? Truly was it told: They hear with their ears, but are deaf, and they see with their eyes but they are blind.

How can it be “delusional” for asking questions? There WERE military with black back packs on the last mile of the marathon. Some had detonators…is it not coincidental that they were stating there was a “drill” and not to be alarmed? Why are they seen quickly moving away from the area of the bomb just a minute before it went off?

Why did Reporter King (a seasoned reporter with credible sources) announce that there was a “suspect in custody” and then hours later had to rescind the statement. Talk about credibility being shot!

Why is it wrong to ask questions and demand answers? Our friends, neighbours, brothers and sisters were maimed and killed by terrorists carrying out “jihad”. They were innocent victims going about doing their daily routines.

This is NOT right! We need to face facts and get answers. If you think I am delusional to ask these questions, so be it. If honest answers were given…I will be satisfied. Bengazi still has not had an investigation. When do we get answers to those questions?

Rep. Stella Tremblay: Boston Marathon bombing a ‘terrorist’ attack by U.S. government

State House Rep. Stella Tremblay believes the Boston Marathon bombing was masterminded by the U.S. government. Friday morning, before the second suspect was apprehended, Tremblay posted a message on Glenn Beck’s Facebook page calling the bombing a “Black Ops ‘terrorist’ attack” (along with a link to an Alex Jones video):

Just as you said would happen. Top Down, Bottom UP. The Boston Marathon was a Black Ops “terrorist” attack. One suspect killed, the other one will be too before they even have a chance to speak. Drones and now “terrorist” attacks by our own Government. Sad day, but a “wake up” to all of us. First there was a “suspect” then there wasnt. Infowars broke the story and they knew they had been “found out”.

The Auburn Republican recently made national headlines when she sponsored legislation embracing the theory that the “original” 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has been swept under the rug in a massive governmental conspiracy

We put aside our partisan differences… Oh wait

In the wake of the tragic Boston Marathon bombings, Granite Staters put aside our partisan differences and came together in shared purpose… Oh wait. Hours after the second bombing suspect was captured, state Rep. John Burt (R-Goffstown) shared this nugget on Facebook:

They were living off the tax payers from what I understand. Do you think they used their “Obama Phone” to set those bombs off?

We need to ban “Obama Phones” and pressure cookers.

Offended by your squeemishness and girlishness

image

After former state Rep. Andrew Manuse (R-Derry) posted this image on Facebook, fellow Free Stater Jason Talley complained. An abridged version of the Free Stater vs. Free Stater takedown follows:

Jason Talley That’s demeaning.

Andrew J. Manuse Maybe you should buy a gun, Jason?

Jason Talley Do you have a gun to make you feel like a man? Seems like the wrong reason.

Andrew J. Manuse No, I don’t have it for that reason, but I think having one certainly is the job of the man of the household; namely to protect his household.

Jason Talley That’s sexist.

Andrew J. Manuse I think you’re proving the image’s point.

Jason Talley How am I “proving the image’s point” Andrew J. Manuse?

Andrew J. Manuse I’m offended by your squeemishness and girlishness concerning guns, Jason Talley

Jason Talley You should show examples of my “squeemishness and girlishness” regarding guns. I bet I’ve fired more weapons that you, not that it makes me more of a man that you. Okay, maybe by your lame standard. I was simply addressing your shame tactics by pointing out that it was a demeaning image that you posted.

Andrew J. Manuse It’s not demeaning, it’s propaganda. I’m not going to have a contest with you of that nature, but I doubt you’re correct. What I’ve noticed is any time I post anything to defend the Second Amendment, Jason Talley, you are critical of it. To me, that is more shameful than anything that I might have done in response to such shamefulness.

Jason Talley I support the natural right to own guns but someone shouldn’t be shamed into owning one. Name-calling seems to be more childish than manly, imo. Handling guns requires maturity, regardless of gender.

Andrew J Manuse Jason, I think everyone should own a gun, but this post wasn’t about shaming people into buying one as much as it was just light-hearted fun for someone who reads too much bullshit in the news and was just looking for some levity. Thanks for fucking that up, asshole!

At that point, Manuse “unfriended” Talley and the conversation ended. Manuse later deleted the image and the conversation — but not before Talley captured it with a screenshot.

Rep. John Burt: Scenes from a gun rally

State Rep. John Burt (R-Goffstown) was on hand for yesterday’s Day of Resistance gun rally in Concord. On Facebook, he shared his photos and commentary:

image

Burt: I am afraid of this. One day we will have our dictator and that is why the Second Amendment is so important to me.

image

Burt: I love and agree with this one.

Rep. Notter: Shame on me for hating cancer

Commenting on Facebook, state House Rep. Jeanine Notter (R-Merrimack) sarcastically defends her discredited theory that abortion is associated with an increased risk of breast cancer:

The ABC (abortion/breast cancer) connection was part of the Women’s Right to Know bill that I sponsored. Shame on me for hating cancer so much I wanted to help women learn one of the causes. Can you believe I even went so far as to bring in a Breast Surgeon specialists to explain it all to us? What was I thinking? That is my shame to carry.

O’Brien’s shocking tirade targets teachers

As former House Speaker Bill O’Brien begins positioning himself for a statewide campaign, his public pronouncements have become even more vicious and venomous. But his Facebook tirade condemning public schools and blaming teachers is shocking even by O’Brien’s standards:

Government schools are failing in NH and throughout the country for one fundamental reason: teacher unions.

Teacher unions maintain incompetence and inefficiency on the local level through collective bargaining and school district-based political activism. They don’t bargain for the children. Like any union they bargain for more pay for less work.

Teacher unions constantly fight to structure our state laws to obtain funding for their jobs and monopolistic control of our children. … Our public high schools are viewed internationally as abysmal failures.

Who would not, if they could afford it, get their child out of a government school so he can obtain a useful education?
